About me
Twenty years in clubs, over 2,000 weddings
I learned to read a dance floor when getting it wrong meant watching the room empty in three minutes. That schooling is still my method.
From clubs to weddings
I spent more than twenty years behind the decks in clubs. That is where you learn the part of the job that cannot be taught in words: understanding within seconds what a room is asking for, and reacting before anyone else notices. In a club, nobody forgives a wrong track.
In those years I opened for Guy Gerber, Benny Benassi, Erick Morillo and Louie Vega, and I played after live shows by Sting, Brian May, Queen + Adam Lambert, Andrea Bocelli and Ricchi e Poveri — situations where the DJ comes on after a peak moment and has to hold the room without spoiling it.
The club work never stopped
I do not talk about clubs in the past tense. I have been playing in clubs for more than twenty years and, since 2017, every weekend at El PavoReal in Florence, a landmark of Florentine and Tuscan nightlife: the Saturday night for the over-30 crowd, the Friday aimed at a younger audience. Two different rooms, two different ways of listening, every week.
It is a practice I have chosen not to interrupt. Playing regularly for a crowd I do not know keeps me listening: it tells me what is moving in music, what holds up over time and what has stopped speaking to people. That sensitivity matters in a villa too, where the repertoire runs from the timeless seventies, eighties and nineties through to current hits and every track carries the same weight.
Weddings came alongside the clubs, and with them a completely different audience: three generations in one room, musical tastes light years apart, and a single evening you cannot get wrong. Today I have played over 2,000 weddings and look after more than 130 events a year across Tuscany, Italy and abroad.
International clients
I work with international clients, figures from entertainment and sport, companies and families who choose Italy for their event. That work demands two extra qualities: handling several nationalities in the same room, and total discretion. None of their names appear on this site — which is precisely why they call back.
Companies and brands
I have handled the music for events by Cartier, Porsche, Salvatore Ferragamo, Dolce & Gabbana and Mercedes-Benz. The tone is entirely different from a wedding, but the underlying brief is identical: absolute technical reliability and no grandstanding.
How I work with other professionals
I work continuously with wedding planners, venues, sound crews and production teams. A large share of my events comes from them, and that says more than any review: a professional only calls you back if you did not create problems.

The principle
The DJ is not the attraction
Many colleagues have built a career on their own name. I built mine on the fact that none of my clients ever had to think about me during their own evening.
No hosting, no microphone show, no imposed musical signature. The music serves the evening, and the evening is yours.
