Discretion

Discretion and confidentiality

My site shows fewer images than I could. That is a choice, and for many clients it is the main reason they call.

The rule, in one line

I do not publish images, videos or content in which clients and guests are recognisable, and I do not use their names as a shop window. It is the default standard, and it applies without your having to ask.

The only exception is your own wish. If clients send me images or videos themselves, if they expressly authorise me to publish them, or if I reshare content they have already posted on their own channels, then that material may appear. The initiative always remains yours: I publish nothing without explicit consent, and an authorisation given once can be withdrawn at any time.

What that means in practice

  • No photos or video with recognisable faces of clients or guests on my channels
  • No stories posted during the event
  • No tagging, no real-time geolocation
  • No private client named in conversations, quotes or marketing materials
  • No styling details shared before the official releases agreed with the planner
  • NDAs signed without discussion, whenever requested

Why this is a commercial choice, not only an ethical one

I work with international clients, figures from entertainment and sport, luxury brands and families who have a concrete reason not to end up online. For them, a supplier who publishes content is a risk, not an advantage.

The price I pay is obvious: a website with fewer images than colleagues who document every night. The advantage I offer is equally obvious: when you hire me, nobody will ever learn from me that your event existed.

What I show instead

Empty spaces, set-ups without people, instruments, working moments. And professional references: brands I have worked for, artists I have played after, planners and venues who can speak about me without exposing any client.

If you need a verifiable reference before signing, I will provide one: they are the names of professionals, not private clients. Ask me at the quotation stage.

The value I offer is not the exposure I get, it is the peace of mind you get.

FAQ

Discretion: frequently asked questions

Will you post photos or videos of my guests?
Not on my own initiative. Confidentiality is the default: I do not publish images, videos or stories in which clients or their guests are recognisable, and I do not name the people I have worked for. The only exception is your own wish — if you send me material yourself, if you expressly authorise me, or if I reshare content you have already published on your own channels. Without explicit consent, I publish nothing.
Are you willing to sign an NDA?
Yes, without discussion. Many of the events I work on involve confidentiality agreements required by the client, the planner or the brand. If your event needs an NDA, send it with your availability enquiry and I will sign it before the contract.
Do you host or talk on the microphone?
I am not an MC and I do not put on a show about myself. I use the microphone only for the announcements we agree with you or your planner: the couple's entrance, the cake cutting, key programme moments. If it helps, I will also keep the flow of the evening together with the planner, the caterer and the photographer: I am a DJ, not an emcee, but I know how to hold timings. Your guests should remember how the night felt, not who was behind the decks.

Do you need an NDA?

Send it with your availability enquiry: I sign before the contract.
