Where I work
Florence is the base and Tuscany is the region I know venue by venue. But I work across Italy and abroad.
Areas and types of venue
Every context has different technical constraints: acoustics, noise limits, curfews, power, access. Knowing them in advance is half the job.
- Florence and the surrounding hills
- Historic villas and estates on the Florentine hills, luxury hotels in the centre, rooftop terraces with Duomo views, event spaces in Oltrarno. This is my base: I reach the venue on predictable timings and already know the acoustic limits and curfews of most properties.
- Chianti and Val d'Orcia
- Wineries, hamlets and estates with courtyards and gardens, parties under festoon lights among the cypresses. Beautiful contexts and technically delicate ones: almost always outdoors, with tight noise limits and power supply that needs checking.
- Lucca, Versilia and the Tuscan coast
- Coastal villas, resorts and historic beach clubs, weddings that start at sunset and finish on the sand. Wind, salt humidity and the need for a covered set-up: things you solve at the planning stage, not on the night.
- Siena, Arezzo and the Maremma
- Remote estates, high-end agriturismi and venues with large capacity. Greater distance from towns means more freedom on curfews, but also logistics and generators to plan.
- Amalfi Coast and Capri
- Terraces above the sea, tight spaces, difficult access and equipment carried in by boat or by hand. I work there regularly and design the system around the space that actually exists.
- Lake Como and northern Italy
- Historic lakeside villas, arrivals by boat, strict municipal rules on music and curfews. Typical format: a refined ceremony and dinner, then a compact dance floor with high energy.
- Puglia, Rome, Venice and the rest of Italy
- Masserie, historic palazzi, urban venues. The method does not change: technical checks upfront, a music brief with the client, coordination with planner and venue.
- Europe and destinations on request
- For events outside Italy I assess travel times, equipment to hire locally and local requirements together with the planner. Recommended lead time: at least four months.

How it works outside Tuscany
For events outside Tuscany the quote includes travel, accommodation and, where it makes sense, hiring audio equipment locally instead of transporting it. These lines are stated explicitly in the quote, never a surprise on the invoice.
Recommended lead time is four months for Italy and the same for Europe. For places with difficult access — Capri, the Amalfi Coast, the islands — logistics must be planned upfront, together with the venue or the planner.
